Our History

The Dowling Post – located on Maple Street in Whitpain Township’s West Ambler Area – was built by the members in the early 1950’s. Ever since, it has been a mainstay of the community and home of countless civic and social occasions for generations of area residents. Today, our more than 100 members are as as committed as ever mentoring youth, sponsoring community programs, advocating a patriotism, and promoting continued devotion to active duty members and out fellow veterans. We are proud to be a diverse and thriving non-profit, service organization, and always reliable community partner.
