Our History
The Dowling Post – located on Maple Street - in Whitpain Township’s West Ambler – was built by the members in the early 1950’s. Ever since, it has been a mainstay of the community and home to countless civic and social occasions for generations of area residents. Today, our more than 100 members are as committed as ever to mentoring young people, sponsoring community programs, promoting patriotism, and continued devotion to active duty members and our fellow veterans. We are proud to be a diverse and thriving non-profit, veterans service organization, and always reliable community partner.
